Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
Several villagers lost their lives after the banned Communist Party of India (Maoist) allegedly planted IED (Improvised Explosive Device) pressure bombs in Jharkhand's Meralgada village.
The incident took place in Jharkhand's Goilkera police station area on Tuesday.
Superintendent of Police Ashutosh Sarkar confirmed that the incident was planned by left-wing extremists to target local security forces.
He further said that earlier villagers were victims of IED pressure bomb attacks in the area.
